A series of letters opposing the removal of access to BBC Sounds from those
listeners outside the UK were read out near the end of the Radio 4 program
“Feedback” airing and streaming at 2000 GMT today, Sunday. The program’s host
promised to “keep trying” to get someone from BBC management to “explain” its
decision. Comments included the phrase “without warning” and an offer to pay a
subscription fee to retain access. The host encouraged listeners to continue
writing and registering their objections.
