Scott Sisson shouted to the world: > I'm wondering if Cranes want to play starblood anymore. > Its kind of been their anthem (of sorts) for the last 10 years, but maybe they want to move on with their more "chilled" style of music? THe whole live album has a very chilled sound to it, and DAD001 is similarly relaxed.
I think it's a different question. "Starblood" was a real thing with Mark Francombre. Nowadays it wouldn't make sense anymore, with Paul trying to imitate Mark. Playing "Starblood" today would be as summoning a ghost. Though they all know people would die to hear older tunes played live, I suppose they're mumbling on it, when people at concerts ask for "Reach", or "Sixth of May" for example.
