The minimum 'knowledge' would be basic HTML/ftp knowledge, and anything else would be 
a plus. As for software, you can easilly get by (as I do) with a text editor. As for 
'experience', while it would be nice if you had maintained a site before, we can 
overlook this in favour of enthusiasm for the job ;-)
