hehah!
i love the jarring moments on the Particles & Waves
record; it's like "oh, you thought you knew where this was going to go, but
no!". i tend to really enjoy it when bands throw things out of kilter, and
you're left saying "where did that come from?"
but i certainly can see where it could be neat to
tone down or eliminate the noisier parts on there, if you are in a
certain mood, and/or for sleeping purposes ;)
