I've been using 20030814 for a while now, with a the stripws patch posted by Tuomo, and it seems very stable. Unless Tuomo has something up his sleeve (I haven't looked at the latest CVS), I'd suggest that 20030814 will meet your requirements. If the freeze isn't until December then you've got a few months to iron out bugs anyhow. Tom
