looks like i screwed up yesterday, and my mails didn't actually
make it... trying for the third time... (excuse dupes if I
am confused)

Please do, I am considering updating my bindings, and some of your
description sounded a bit appealing. As Lua is not my thing, it
would be quite helpful to see how you implement the VIM like
frames+tabs+workspaces movements... right now I'm in modifier
hell for this, i.e. alt+hl for frames, win+hjkl for windows,
win+shift+hl for workspaces, alt+shift to move frame inside a
window... getting to be kind of a pain... (do you use Yank and
Paste for your frames? I have them bound to tag & attach, but
I've yet to make the "attach" also move right by one, since
attach Pastes to the right of the current frame)

Actually, I think it would be great if people who are willing
to put up their configs would post them on the Wiki, maybe have
a section called "VIM like bindings"... Perhaps a "standard vim
like file" can be the result of such a work, which would reduce
the need for everyone to make their own bindings/reinvent the
wheel and potentially miss out on ... a whole bunch of useful
bindings. (of course everyone has their own personal tweaks,
but it sounds like there is definitely a similarity in the VIM
like bindings, at least based on the posts on this list...)
