Ion is a very inovative Window-manager. 

PWM was  the first one  to implement tabs.  Don't know wether  Ion has
been the first or one of the first to implement splits. 

If I have to choose  between letting Tuomo continue doing great things
and  asking  him  to  write  a  GUI  configuration  tool,  there's  no
hesitation. 

Other  window-manager  now try  to  implement  ideas  from Ion.  Their
priorities  may be  to reach  more users.  I don't  think this  is the
*priority* for Ion.


But still,  I agree that if  we can get something  *in addition*, that
would be perfect :-)
