No. The first program to grab a key on a window has the grab until it releases it, and the grab closest to root always gets to handle the event. The only way you can have Ion grab those keys is to have Ion fully start before whatever in KDE is grabbing them, or figure out how to prevent KDE from grabbing them. -- Tuomo
