Thank you for the effort so far and thanks for sending the note. You will be 
missed. I wish you success in your future work.

To everyone:

the procedure to nominate a maintainer is very simple: the people working in 
security and closely related to it figure out who it should be and the ISG 
ratifies (or not). There is no vote. Jaideep nominated Vijay, so on behalf of 
the ISG and as the community function leader, I ask:

1) Vijay, are you willing to be the maintainer?

Yes, I am willing to be maintainer.

2) are there any other candidates?
