You're correct: under current plans, we do not intend to have JSON code in 
IoTivity, but it will not be too difficult to add it later by someone properly 
motivated. Given other priorities, even if someone wanted to do it tomorrow, 
I'd expect us to ask the contributor to hold off for a couple more months as we 
stabilise the codebase.

I don't mind whatever else they choose to make mandatory, as long as CBOR is 
mandatory. But, like you said, we may not do it in IoTivity.
