Minji Park, I am sorry that the API had to change for IPv6, but I was unable to eliminate changes. I tried very hard to minimize changes, and I think you will find that the changes are very small at the C++ level, and only slightly larger at the C level. I documented the changes in the IoTivity wiki quite a while before the changes were merged. See https://wiki.iotivity.org/ipv6 for a complete description. The answer to your specific question is in https://wiki.iotivity.org/c_api_changes_for_ipv6#occonnectivitytype. Also, on the dev list a few days ago I offered to answer any specific questions you have. That offer still stands. If the wiki documentation doesn?t answer your questions, please write back. Please tell me how I should notify ?service developers? in the future. John Light Intel OTC OIC Development

Cc: iotivity-dev at lists.iotivity.org Subject: [dev] OCConnectivityType changes to support IPv6 Hi Mr. Light, Regarding the Patch set of https://gerrit.iotivity.org/gerrit/#/c/1081/, OCConnectivityType has been changed, and there were following changes about setting connectivity type to 'CT_DEFAULT' in some service codes using C++ discovery API. Since there wasn't any notification to service developers regarding these changes before the codes merged, could you give us some information about what does CT_DEFAULT stand for and other connectivity type settings.
