Good point Pat, since the board is ?not supported? issues may develop and not
be found in testing, especially as time goes on and the tested version diverges
from the head.

However currently, the Edison board example for IoTivity is pretty
well-documented? I?ve followed the instructions on the wiki, and had no issues
setting one up myself, for what it?s worth.

Also, please see the file
?<iotivity-root>/examples/OICSensorBoard/OICSensorBoardREADME.pdf? for
documentation on setting up the Edison board sensors to support the
?edisonserver? app (the ?edisonserver? app is the one shown in the IoTivity
wiki for
Edison<https://wiki.iotivity.org/running_sample_codes_in_iotivity_0.9_sdk_on_edison#build_and_execute_iotivity_sample_codes-oicsensorboard>)

Finally, for those interested in playing with Edison and Android client app, we
have developed a simple Android IoTivity Client app, which can connect to
edisonserver (and Simpleserver?s light resource). We are finishing
integration, and the source will be pushed to IoTivity very soon. Here?s a
screenshot (running on Nexus 5 and connected to my Edison) to give an idea of
what you will see:

Again, to be clear, this app and the Android API library behind it have not yet
been pushed to IoTivity but should be very soon. One of us will send an
announcement to this dev list when it?s officially available.

Thanks,
Nathan

To all,

The other part of ?supported hardware? is that ?supported hardware? is well
documented. :)

Hi. Martin.
Thanks for great news!
But I couldn?t look for any reference document for this. Could you help me?

I think the Edison board already been supported.

We already referenced the code submitted by Benny?s team to work out the demo.

Hi. All.
I have general question like when IoTivity will support Edison board? Did you
have any discussion on it within the community?

Kr, Wonsuk.
