Dear All, This is Uze Choi who commented specific reason regarding the need of IoTivity out of process model.
According to the OIC F2F Action Item regarding ?Continue the discussion and review the requirements for proc and discuss surrounding issues.?, I?d like to discuss whether daemon process model for IoTivity is really required, In this mail thread. For the Bluetooth connectivity, IoTivity uses a single UUID which means single RFComm Server. Different from Wi-Fi where each IoTivity Service or resource can increment the port number to avoid the conflict, IoTivity Bluetooth cannot increase the UUID according to the IoTivity Bluetooth connectivity design. I believe single daemon process can hold this Bluetooth RFComm server and resolve the issue. This is why out of process model is required, I think.
