Thanks Thiago and JinGuk.

I asked about ZigBee and Z-Wave because we are researching sensors and devices
to use in our IoT project, and it seems that many of them support those
protocols.
Now I am wondering if I am going to the wrong way. It seems that you are
supporting BT/BLE/IP because they will be standard for IoT devices and sensors.
Is this correct?

Thank you very much!

Hi Joao Carlos,

Actually, current IoTivity support BT/BLE/IP Network, not ZigBee/Z-Wave. We
just have plan to support ZigBee/Z-Wave.

Protocol plugin manager can be used for bridging between IoTivity device and
Non-IoTivity device.

This manager provides functionality to dynamically load and un-load modules.

You can add your own plugin after implementing bridge logic between ZigBee and
IoTivity, as of now.

Or, you can use IoTivity source codes after finishing all ZigBee/Z-Wave related
tasks in IoTivity community.

Title : [dev] ZigBee and Z-Wave

Hi.

I am doing a research to choose which IoT framework my team will work with.
I would like to know if IoTivity supports ZigBee or Z-Wave.
I saw this demo (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1jFTfONzHY), and the
Controller App is not communicating directly with ZigBee devices, only Wi-Fi
and Bluetooth.

Thank you very much!

Jo?o
