After reading a comment by Ashok, I realize I haven't properly qualified my
announcement of IPv6 support.

The currently checked in code is for Linux only. I have tested it on my Ubuntu
machine, but I haven't made modifications for other platforms, so they are
certainly not tested.

The intention is to show early progress in IPv6 work so the community can see
the direction I am headed. We hope this will set an example for other work
contributed to IoTivity.

I am assured that the maintainer will not approved a push to git until the
other work is done.

Subject: IPv6 code is submitted for review

All,

https://gerrit.iotivity.org/gerrit/#/c/484/

is the IPv6 code in branch ca-ipv6 (of connectivity abstraction).

The code requires much work before being pushed to CA branch or origin, but it
works in a limited fashion and provides an understanding of how much changed to
make it work.

I sent out a PDF document describing the changes to the iotivity-dev list. I
will put the document contents in a Wiki page.
