Max,

Hi!

There is no OIC code running on the Hue, yet. We would love to see it added
in the future.

There are a couple of folks who have done it independently, but it has been
done by mapping OIC operations/states into Hue operations. Hopefully,
someone who has worked on the protocol gateway (PPM) will respond shortly.

Subject: [dev] FW: Hue

Hi Together,

I am currently using the OIC 0.8.0 in a project and stumbled upon the hue
plugin capability.

I am not understanding:

How does the oic here cooperate with the hue?

- Is there a oic server running on the hue controller?

- Does the hue itself receive the oic signals over wifi ?

- Do I need to attach an additional application (if yes which one
?)

If someone would share his knowledge and/or experiences I would be very
thankful guys

Cheers,
Max
