June, Creating a release branch was necessary to accept any bug fixes on the branch AND allow contributions for the NEXT release on master.

Nevertheless, I think creating release branch is good for 0.9.1 because 0.9.1 has a lot of new features since 0.9.0. Anyhow, this kind of work has to have a consensus in advance, so would you please let us know in advance next time? And why have you made the release branch the name of ?0.9.1-dev?? This branch is to be used for a fully public release, and will be the version used in the Plugfest next month. This branch will not accept patches directly, and will not receive any additional features. Please continue to submit patches to the 'master' branch, and indicate if that patch applies to a bug-fix (Please mention the JIRA ticket number as well!), and the patch will also be cherry picked to 0.9.1 upon acceptance into master.
