Yes right, naming is not optimal. For this time, we have to stay with the existing name but for the next minor/major releases we can choose the release branch name a bit better.
So IoTivity maintainers please go ahead and cherry-pick the changes to 1.0.0-dev that should be included in the 1.0.1 patch release.
