Since the memory leak could lead the installed system to some critical
problems, I prefer including this.
However, as Jon mentioned I think we need to dig bit more why empty string
has delivered later and patch the fix.

Thank you.

As a candidate of patch in 1.0.1, following patch looks like preventing
some crash but still pending from iotivity.org due to some concern.
 https://gerrit.iotivity.org/gerrit/#/c/3935/ (Add string length checking
code before the string dump) Jay, Do you believe this should be in the
1.0.1 patch release? Then any further action?

Subject: [dev] IoTivity 1.0.1 release status

Hello,
please find attached an overview of the current 1.0.1 release status.
There are 30 issues. 10 are already closed and 10 are resolved but still
need to be merged to 1.0.0-dev branch.
The issues are documented in Jira and linked to Gerrit changes.
So far I have received input from MyeongGi Jeong, Uze Choi and issues
related to plug fest 5.
Please add issues that should go into 1.0.1 preferable directly in Jira or
send me a list.
Best regards
Markus Jung
