I have recently cloned Iotivity 1.2 release code and run the sample server client application to capture COAP packets. All protocols are enabled on wireshark (CAOP.CBOR..etc) The packets are not decoded by Wire shark as COAP , but all messages were captured as UDP ( GET,PUT methods) . Only the first multicast message from Client received on MULTICAST DNS 224.0.1.187 on Server is decoded as COAP but decoded as : Constrained Application Protocol, Non-Confirmable, GET, MID:50100 All further GET/PUT messages exchanged decoded as UDP.
