Hi All,
>From IoTivity perspective, protocol interoperability and API compatibility between the previous version release and new version need to be supported. We released IoTivity 1.0.0 before and 1.0.1 for OIC specification compliance support. On the other hand, there are still gap and will be gap between OIC Standard Specification and IoTivity Source Code. When we think about the new feature, spec will be defined and open source will be implemented in the sequence something first and other later. Both party may looks the feature differently, then there could exist gap between spec and open source. To remove the GAP, Protocol and API can be updated and modified. However, this will bring the protocol or API break even, it could happen before product release which requires spec and open source together for specific feature. IoTivity has another release 1.1.0 on End of Mar. How do you think about the protocol interoperability and API compatibility from legacy versions?
