I tried to get started yesterday with no luck. Frankly the process seems a little cumbersome. I can live with that, but at the moment I'm on a very tight schedule which is why i went ahead and created a github repo for my iotivity stuff. Next step is to get the generic-java stuff running on the darwin port.
