The current and proposed designs are flawed. We need to bring the "rep" entry 
back. There's simply no other way, we cannot have "if", "href" and "rt" inside 
the same map/object that the resource's properties are.

If we did that, then we would be unable to add new entries of our own in the 
Core spec. For example, if we wanted to add a new field called "rn", we'd have 
to be *absolutely* sure that there are no resources using "rn" as a property.

That includes:
 * resources aren't public yet
 * vendor-specific resources

It's impossible to know with absolutely certainty what vendors are doing in 
their vendor-specific resources.
