Open Connectivity Foundation (OCF) is a host sponsor of the OpenIoT Summit
<http://events.linuxfoundation.org/events/openiot-summit>  taking place
April 4 - 6, 2016 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, California.
Mike Richmond, OCF Executive Director will be delivering a keynote address
and OCF and its members will be hosting a mini-summit on Monday, April 4th.
OCF will also be showcasing hands-on demonstrations in booth # 121 during
the event.  

In addition to participating in the OpenIoT Summit, OCF will be hosting an
IoTivity Developer Day

place Wednesday, April 6th at the Port Pavilion on Broadway Pier. If you are
building IoT products and services, this is a must-attend event. Attend and
you will be able to learn how easy it is to incorporate IoTivity directly

Opening Welcome and Keynote

The opening keynote will give an overview of the OCF and what IoTivity is,
and what capabilities exists for IoTivity.


10:30am - 11:00am

Open Connectivity Foundation (OCF) Fundamentals

We will cover the protocols and what is a resource and resource types for
IoTivity.


11:00am - 11:15am

11:15am - 12:00pm

IoTivity's Architecture

The IoTivity architecture session will go through IoTivity's architectures
and features, its supported platforms and the plug-in architecture
available.


12:00pm - 1:30pm

1:30pm - 3:00pm

Hands-on 101

This hands-on lab will give attendees the opportunity to work with the
presenter and go through how to set up a basic dev environment from front to
back - starting with downloading to writing a reasonable application. The
lab will also cover how to use the security features available for IoTivity.


3:00pm - 3:15pm

3:15pm - 4:45pm

IoTivity and Further Capabilities

This session will expand on the capabilities of IoTivity, on using Android
and Java Script and also on building and setting up on small devices
