Hello, Have you looked at the source for the provisioning tool? I believe that ?removing? a device in this app simply removes the provisioning information from the tool side. The device itself is not necessarily reset (reverting to owned=false is part of resetting, FYI). Resetting the device (in this case, restoring the original .dat file) may be a separate step. If you wish to test this, you can try closing the server application, copying the original .dat file from the source directory to the out directory, and then re-running the server. Then see if the device shows up in the provisioning tool as owned=false.
Sorry I can?t test any of this for you as I (and many of the other OCF and IoTivity contributors) am at a week-long OCF conference at the moment and away from my dev system. Thanks, Nathan PS: Please refrain from using all caps in the subject line, as it makes it seem like you are shouting at us ? After discovering after registering the both servers i wanted to remove the devices using ** [E] REMOVE THE SELECTED DEVICE ** 50. Remove the Selected Device ** 51. Remove Device with UUID (UUID input is required) ** 52. Reset the Selected Device These above options while removing devices using Opting 50 its showing that device is removed successfully but after restating both server and provisioning, still its showing in the owned devices i have tried to remove the device by first linking ** [C] PROVISION/LINK PAIRWISE THINGS ** 30. Provision/Link Pairwise Things ** 34. Check Linked Status of the Selected Device on PRVN DB Using these opting i am able to link the devices and can check the linking status. again i tried to remove the device its showing same thing like mentioned above I need some guidance into it Regards, Jotirling Swami, -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
