I have a few things I would like to gather data on, but Jira can quickly
generate reports that potentially are kind of interesting. These two are
Average Age and Resolution Time:

I'm not sure links will work for others - there is a token embedded in
the URL which might be unique to me, but if not it's easy to get back to
- pick IoTivity under the Project drop-down, that should display a menu
of choices at the left; pick the reports section and hunt for these two
reports. I set them to report weekly and go back 180 days.

What I read from these is that issues that get resolved don't take
forever (most periods the time seems to average 2 months, plus or
minus), but the average age of unresolved tickets is very long, so
there's a lot that isn't being handled effectively. Note sometimes
"handle effectively" could mean making a decision that a ticket just
isn't going to get addressed, and so tossing it out so as not to set
unreasonable expectations.
