So, I get a response to a discovery request. I use one of the eps to construct a request. This fails, because the EP is percent-encoding. This is technically wrong, because percent-encoding only applies to literal ipv6 addresses *within* a URL. The URL in the EP is not a URL. Sorry I can’t parse the last sentence above “The URL in the EP is not a URL”. What do you mean by “The URL … is not a URL”? Oops. Heh. What I mean is the value of the addr field is (or should be) a literal ipv6 address, which is not the same as as an ipv6 URL address. At the very least this needs clarification. Hth G This is a bug.
