Guru, We have some amazing tools now that automatically generate code, introspection and test files for an OCF server from a simple device description file. We also have a client tool that will securely onboard devices and generate a generic client application from the introspection file. Using these tools, you can create a working hardware prototype in about 15 minutes.
These tools will be used in our first hackathon in Chicago next week. HOWEVER, these tools are currently at the minimum viable product level. They will be released in the fall. We have currently tested them on Windows, Mac, Linux and Raspberry Pi (and the client application on Android). In the fall, other operating systems will be supported. All of these tools are templated and we are anxious to get them on other platforms. All we need are developers who are willing to contribute time to this. If you are interested in converting any of these tools for a particular platform, let me know. Otherwise, look for them in general release on a number of platforms this fall.
