Iowa Members, For those of you I don’t know, my name is Jimmy Carr. I’m on the WISPA Board and Chair the Legislative Committee.
We are looking for one or more WISPs who serve Congressman Dave Loebsack’s district (map here: https://loebsack.house.gov/district/interactive.htm <https://loebsack.house.gov/district/interactive.htm>) to help with WISPA’s activities in DC. Specifically, WISPA is coordinating an event in DC on the CBRS band for the afternoon of 2/14. We are looking for some members to volunteer to travel to DC to attend that event, and also to meet with key members of Congress during the trip. Congressman Loebsack is one of the members we want to have members meet with, so we are look for volunteers who serve his district and/or already have a relationship with him, or his staff. If you serve his district, and would be willing to travel to DC on 2/14 (WISPA can reimburse your travel and a hotel if needed), please respond (off list) directly to me. I’m not on the Iowa state list, so I will only see your response if you respond directly.
