Within the past 6 months Princeton University has added Comcast as one of their Commodity ISPs with a 1Gig pipe.
Recently when our other ISP went down, all the traffic moved to Comcast. During that time the users experienced poor performance and everything we looked at showed no indication of a BW cap or any other problem. We are thinking that Comcast may not truly be 1G and would like to perform some BW test to determine if this is true. We would like to see if there is some IPerf serve available in our Comcast path, that can help. Any ideas?? Thanks for the help.
