Hello, i am working on wireless application, where i have to estimate available bandwidth for WiFi tcp link... The estimate doesn't have to be precise, but quick, e.g. no long packet trains. What algorithm would make more sense for this situation? I didn't manage to find any comprehensive guide/ comparizon... Would the "packet pair" work ? If i understand that algorithm correctly, the bandwidth can be estimated as PaketSize/ RTT_Dispersal, where RTT_Dispersal is the difference in RTT times. Is that correct? Thank you, -V
