What, with iperf? It's been a hot minute (read: about a decade) since I did anything with LTSP, but if memory serves me correctly the thin clients aren't dumb terminals, they just don't have any local storage (aside what might be necessary for bootstrapping and optionally caching). So in other words as long as you configure your client image(s) to start iperf in listen mode automatically on boot, i don't see why it wouldn't be possible.
