-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512 ESnet (Energy Sciences Network) is proud to announce the availability of iperf-3.15. This release several bug fixes, including one that could cause an iperf3 server process to hang waiting for input on the control connection. For more information, please see:
https://downloads.es.net/pub/iperf/esnet-secadv-2023-0002.txt.asc ESnet would like to thank Jorge Sancho Larraz of Canonical for bringing this issue to our attention. This release also includes a few other minor bug fixes. More information on those changes can be found in the iperf-3.15 release notes, which are contained in the RELNOTES.md file in the distribution. iperf 3.15 should be fully backward-compatible with prior iperf3 releases, that is, iperf 3.15 clients and servers should interoperate correctly with all 3.x clients and servers. iperf3 is a tool for measuring the maximum TCP, UDP, and SCTP throughput along a path, allowing for the tuning of various parameters and reporting measurements such as throughput, jitter, and datagram packet loss. It is fully supported on Linux, FreeBSD, and macOS. It may run on other platforms as well, although it has not received the same attention and testing. Note that iperf3 is not compatible with, and will not interoperate with, version 2 or earlier of iperf, although the two versions can co-exist on the same hosts and networks.
