MAC address based filtering

Hello!

I see that MAC based address filtering (redirection) is not possible 
with ipfilters. Is there any plans to implement it in ipfilter in near 
future?
Otherwise, what are my options to do this using ipfilter? The 'iptables' 
in Linux does MAC based filtering.
