Hello All -
I'm having a real problem when building IPFilter for Solaris 8:
For reasons I won't go into, my /opt directory is a symlink to /local/0/opt.
I'm using gcc 3.1 and the make utility provided with Solaris
(/usr/ccs/bin/make).
Performing a default compile:
make solaris
cd SunOS5
make package
"pkgadd ipf.pkg" breaks the symlink from /local/0/opt to /opt and puts ipf
in a newly created /opt directory.
Is there any way I can prevent this?
