ipfilter is now part of Solaris 10. To the best of my knowledge, this fact is not noted in the ipfilter documentation, which it could usefully be. It might save someone like myself trying to install it from sources. I realised when the pkgadd gave warnings that it would overwrite some files.

It is also started on Solaris 10 is a an odd way - not the usual /etc/init.d/ipfboot script.
