Hmm, you're right. I thought it could retain the IP... guess not. What OS are you on? LVS *seems* to be able to do this, though I've never touched LVS, I'm just reading through the docs. Obviously linux-only. I looked a bunch of other software-based LB's, none of them seem to be able to do this.
