About a week ago, I installed 4.1.19 ipf and 2.1.12 pfil. I applied the patches required to make it work with the latest 11/6 Solaris 10 release.
Twice now, the server has crashed with the following: panic[cpu1]/thread=d6ea5200: genunix: [ID 335743 kern.notice] BAD TRAP: type=e (#pf Page fault) rp=dc9adae8 addr=10 occurred in module "ipf" due to a NULL pointer dereference This is the second time in eight days. It's a Sun Multi CPU Xeon V65X. I am also running 2.4.4 pppd rather than the 2.4.0b Sun version. The second of the panic/reboots happened after the pppd link went down and was trying to re-establish. In that case, it is possible that an ipf -Fa had also just been done. Any thoughts? Regds, Dave
