Hi,

I've noticed that the Safari on the iPhone is reported at WebKit v419
while in the Safari 3 public beta it is WebKit v522. I've been working
a lot with WebKit and there is a lot of functionality (JavaScript/XML)
that is in the 522 branch that is not in the 419 branch.

· Is there any indication from Apply that the iPhone will be updated
to 522 when Safari 3 GM comes out with Leopard?
· And why does Apple tout Safari 3 as the development environment for
the iPhone when the feature set is so clearly different that that of
the iPhone?

Thanks,

Jesse
