Hi folks, So I have an application that's based on MooTools for my front-end and Code Igniter PHP framework for my backend. Works great on the desktop. It's responsive, and it's fast. Come the iPhone, and I've submitted a few complaints including the following:
* random Ajax calls never hit the server * application not as responsive with SSL enabled * application is just generally not as smooth as I'd like it. The application is usable. But my standards are high and I want an application that people want to use, versus -have- to use. Big difference! Back on topic -- do you folks think iUI is currently in a state that's worth me re-designing the entire infrastructure of this application? A lot of my CSS would obviously need to be changed, and I can re-use a bunch of my back-end code since that'll stay the same. I just want the application to be more reliable and consistent with responsiveness across the board. I'm not sure if iUI is the right way to go though. Would anyone care to share their opinion on the current stability with iUI? Is it worth me to continue figuring out issues with my current code base, or is iUI at a point where it's a must have and I should try to re-write my application with it? Would really appreciate your two cents.
