Thanks for the feedback. Since we are currently only offering this application to fans in the stadium suites, we wanted to make it as easy as possible. We decided that since currently our only users are those that have more than likely NEVER used the iPod and its unique user interface, we should limit the screen to portrait only. Currently when you rotate the device to landscape, it has a screen that asks you to rotate your device back to portrait.
We also have A LOT of data to show. It is more difficult to build a decent design that allows for a fluid layout, regardless of the orientation. A fixed width allows for more control over what the user sees, without having to settle on less features because of design limitations.
