I like how iphone forces the developer/designer to embrace constraints. For this reason, I thought a very easy to use 'IDE' for building simple sites for the iPhone would surface. To me, Dashcode has failed for this purpose to large degree.
I wanted to prototype sites quickly and put them on line - so I built iphone site builder. It is as simple as I could make it. There is no magic - except for iUI :) It is written in Ruby on Rails. Check it out if you want. http://integrated-internet.com/phab * There is no signup. * You can copy other sites. * Or create one from scratch http://integrated-internet.com/phab/create Maybe if someone has time to give me some feedback, that would be cool :) :V PS: Caution! It is very alpha and does not work in IE. Suggest Safari 3.0 and/or iPhone What the future may hold... - Themes - to change the default iUI colors. (red and green and grey) - Domaining - so you can quickly prototype your site and point to it from your domain ... ie, iphone.yourdomain.com - The ability to edit from the iPhone - Open source the whole thing - it is a rails app (currently baked into my cms) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iPhoneWebDev" group.
