I'm sorry for any delay in your or anyone else's postings. The group is configured so that all "new members" are moderated. This protects the list from spam (and the amount of attempted spam keeps increasing). I'm not sure when Google decides you are no longer a new member, I'm assuming it is after several non-spam posts. I am the backup moderator. I'm very busy, but try to go through the moderation queue at least once a day. I know the other moderators are very busy, as well. I think it might be a good idea to seek a volunteer or two as additional moderators. I also think we should have a more clearly defined policy on what types of messages are acceptable, particularly in the gray areas of recruiting and product announcements - this would help create a consistent policy across multiple moderators.
