Michael,
I have been looking into PersistJS since you mentioned it.  I must be
doing something wrong but I have no idea what it could be.

I found a test page on the Internet for PersistJS that is probably the
same as the download version.  I tested it out on my desktop and it
works fine.  Then using Mobile Safari on the simulator, I tested it
and it works.

Then I downloaded those exact pages from that web site and uploaded
them to my web site to a folder.  I also downloaded the linked js
files and made sure that they are in the correct folder.  I can visit
those pages on my desktop and in Mobile Safari on the simulator and
nothing is saved.

Since you are already using PersistJS, I was hoping that you (or
others) would have a look to see what is wrong.
