I don't want to get into an argument over the merits of serverside vs javascript components or IUI or other client side libs vs. dashcode. Each has its place, and Ajaxian recently did a real nice comparison.
But for anyone doing serverside java here is a new component. Be advised this is still beta, and more error validation needs to be added and javadoc, otherwise its fully functional.
