I do not think that adding an address to 'Contacts' from a web page is
possible, but then again I have been wrong before (once or twice)
But when you ask if it can be opened in "Maps", that is possible, if
the address can be hyperlinked.
Format the target URL of the hyperlink as follows:
http://maps.google.com/?q='put your address here'
If the hyperlink is accessed from an iPhone, it will switch from
Safari to the native Google Maps application and perform a search for
whatever address follows the 'q' parameter. If it finds the address,
it will place a pushpin at the location, with the options of sharing
the location or adding to bookmarks.
If you know the latitude and longitude of the address and can pass
that in the querystring of the URL, then you can get fancy with what
name appears on the pushpin.
http://maps.google.com/?q=Hook'em [email protected],-97.732546
Ok, so you may not be a Texas fan, but you get the idea.
Good Luck!
