I've created a few simple web pages to work on the iPhone. I thought I would give DashCode a try and downloaded the iPhone 3.1 SDK and followed the steps in the Mobile Safari Web Application Tutorial ( http://developer.apple.com/iphone/library/documentation/AppleApplications/Conceptual/Dashcode_UserGuide/Contents/Resources/en.lproj/MakingaWebApp/MakingaWebApp.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40004692-CH18-SW1).
I get as far as adding the handler for the button and the app will no longer run. It complains that " result of expression 'dashcode.getDataSource' [undefined] is not a function. I tried to read about data sources and discovered that I don't even have the data source button at the bottom of the navigator (the button looks like a circle with a square inside it). I poked around in the main.js file but there was nothing obvious and I don't know enough about DashCode to look further into the template. Any ideas for this DashCode newbie? thanks, -becky --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iPhoneWebDev" group.
