UPDATE It seems to be something to do with traversing back to the root. I worked around the issue by replicating the images into a folder in the same directory as the html file and removed the "../" and it works fine. (not a bad idea anyway cos I made them smaller)
Also Remi, it appears that case doesn't affect it - now anyway, maybe an older os version? Anyone got any clues why the iphone browsers have trouble traversing back to the root when Safari/Firefox/Chrome on OSX work fine? cheers On Mar 3, 2:52 am, Remi Grumeau <> wrote: > [troll] > Uppercase in filename is one of my newbiest favorite mistake, same with > src='/Users/urban/Desktop/site/images/image.jpg' path :) > [/troll] > > Juste change all uppercase in lowercase in images filenames. > As a proof: your logo is ok : ww_logo.png > > Hope this helps ; ) > > Remi > > Le 2 mars 2010 à 15:14, urban232 a écrit : > > > > > hey, > > > I got a weird problem as the subject suggests images fail to load on > > the iphone through FullScreenBrowser or Mobile Safari but they load > > fine on the desktop and when using iphoney. > > > test page:http://willywagtail.com.au/mobile/products.php > > > Any ideas? > > > cheers > > > -- > > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > > "iPhoneWebDev" group. > > To post to this group, send email to . > > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > > . > > For more options, visit this group > > athttp://groups.google.com/group/iphonewebdev?hl=en. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iPhoneWebDev" group.
