If posters here change the subject to SPAM does that make it easier to identify? If someone posts only spam, or more than 5 messages marked as spam, ban them. > I don't really see how i can manage to identify spam or not inside a > 5000 emails list, so what i'm thinking about is to mark everybody as > "Moderate" and tag you guys back as "Allowed" one by one on each first > new message. All in all, this shouldn't take too long, we are not more > than a hundred active folks here right? Then new posters will be burried in a list of 4,900 members who are "moderate". I've never modereated one of these groups so I don't know how hard or easy it is, I guess it's up to you how you wan to do it. I know jQuery left for their own list at zoho.com, but it's awful for discussion. Same with Stackoverflow. For all its faults, GG still seems to be the best on-line discussion site as its UI is the closest to a functional (albeit limited) Usenet news reader. -- Rob -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iPhoneWebDev" group.
