Hi,

Has anybody tried the Data Center Manageability Interface (DCMI) Conformance
Test suite (DCTS) from http://www.intel.com/technology/product/dcmi/ ? DCMI
sits on top of IPMI 2.0 and defines a set of commands specific fort Data Center
/ Internet Portal Servers (for details see DCMI spec.)

Unfortunately there is no direct feedback alias listed on the Intel DCMI Web
site, so if anyone from Intel on this list could forward this comments this
would be very appreciated. Thanks.

Test Case 5.5: Verify SEL Clear Action.
Is trying to get the status of the previous Clear SEL command, but re-uses the
previous Reservation ID from the original Clear SEL command. According to
section 31.4.2 of the IPMI 2.0 spec. a clear SEL should cancel the present
reservation. Re-sending a clear SEL with the same reservation ID will therefore
result in a completion code 0xC5 (invalid reservation) on some/most BMC's and
the DCTS test case will be reported as FAIL.

Test Case 7.1: Checking Chassis Status for Initial Power State.
The test checks for a fixed 3 byte response and reports the optional Front
Panel Button Capabilities as invalid length. There is a define
CHASSIS_STATUS_MAX_RSPLEN (5) in addition to CHASSIS_STATUS_MIN_RSPLEN (3),
which is unused and which IMHO should be (4) to reflect the Front Panel Button
Capabilities response byte.

Thanks
